@doug There are some really good questions here Doug! I've added a post here to help those new to design. It includes a few templates for exploring users before going into the prototyping process.
Next I'll cover bringing prototyping into the process, and suggest which tools can be most useful depending on the stage you're at.
I'm not too experienced with Xcode, but I have some friends in mind that I know are more knowledgable on this. I'll send them an invite!
@doug thanks for feedback on how it went! If you're not finding those excercises useful, don't spend too much time on them.
They were useful to me as I had no idea what product my audience actually wanted. It helped me think around it and prioritise features - I documented it here as an example.
However, many people make things for fun or for themselves. In that case, these exercises can be a waste of time and it may be better to start prototyping and testing them out. There isn't really a fixed order for doing this either
@kelechi Thanks, Yes it's my birthday and I did move from UK to US, I might rework the stamp as putting my birthday seems to distract others too.
I'm going to make the arrow clickable I think, just a scroll down to the work seems appropriate.
Glad to hear you liked the case studies, I definitely focussed on content with my new site!
Such great feedback, thanks again for taking the time to check it out!
@bengunbharta said in New project - looking for feedback.:
If I may ask, is your internal debate to pursue it time vs money or just that you are prioritizing other projects?
Hey Bengun, I would say it's to prioritize other projects! I'm also working on content for prototypr.io, and a coliving project.
I think Little Lingua is more for fun - maybe I can use it as an example in some of the content I create in the future!
@edisonjoao6871 Hi Edison! Welcome to the community! What's the story behind your product? Telling a little about yourself and the product before delving into asking the community to test it might get more responses.
Anyways, checked out your Medium post and I think your idea is great! We all need friends IRL and making friends as adults is hard!
I haven't tested the app yet! But it's inspiring that you learnt to code to build this yourself. Did you face any design challenges? How did you learn to do it all on your own? What would you like to get most from this community?
Hello, everyone! Quick update on The Liminal... our coworking spaces are open! We got our first coworkers a few days ago, and we are offering a monthly fee (full-time or part-time) and also weekly or daily rentals
